3 or 6 bedrooms, sleeps 6 or 12, private pools. These recently built villas - both with equal facilities - are situated in the fashionable village of Kuwum, offering affordable accommodation that is close to the busy shopping areas of Legian and Kuta.

Just 20 minutes from the international airport and 10 minutes from the many bars, cafés, restaurants and surf beaches at Legian and Seminyak.

These enchanting villas are situated on separate 800sq-meter sections of manicured lawns and gardens and are comprised of several independent thatched-roof structures that are built in the classic Bali style - with cooling terrazzo-style floors - that merge into al fresco-style verandas - and open-planned living areas. The colorful décor blends a subtle hint of the Mediterranean with its carefully balanced hues of pinks, greens and blues amidst paras-stone walls - with beautiful hand-painted motifs around the arched doorways and alcoves.

Entry to each villa is through an independent set of antique carved-teakwood gates - on either side of a shared covered car-parking area. The gates open onto a network of garden stepping-stones - across tranquil lotus ponds - to an open corridor that spans the rear of the main living pavilions. The corridors have a cushioned sofa and small teakwood tables with vases of fresh wild roses. Through 2 arched doorways is access to an open-planned living area with a high thatched-roof ceiling, natural teakwood furnishings and large cushioned sofas that rest either side of an antique coffee table, while casually spread-out cushions garnish the floors. Behind the sofas are large framed mirrors, which reflect the views of the front gardens. Each villa features its own white-stone sundeck with sun-loungers resting under the shade of a large umbrella - alongside 2 beckoning 'oasis style' swimming pools. The gardens are divided by a stone wall - with large sliding gates for easy access between both villas.

For each villa: - The air-conditioned master suite is an independent thatched-roof garden bungalow. It comprises a canopied double bed, natural teakwood cupboards, built-in side-tables and an en suite bathroom with al fresco shower. 4 large sliding wooden-doors open onto a private veranda - offering gentle breezes and views of the main villa and gardens. 2 air-conditioned double bedrooms - with their own private bathrooms - are positioned at both ends of the main living pavilion. Each bedroom is similar in size and features to the master suite, with a canopied double bed and large sliding doors that open onto the main veranda - with more relaxing views of the gardens and pool.

The stone pathways connect the gardens to a fully equipped kitchen and an independent open-planned dining pavilion with a large wooden dining setting - seating 8 in comfort. Dinner parties for up to 16 guests can also be catered to upon request with comprehensive menus of both local and European cuisines.
